A Long-Form Conversation With the Danube River / Big Worlds, Small Worlds




Technology has aided us tremendously in seeing the world around us (and beyond) through different perspectives. The hot air balloon, for example, may well have changed how we created maps at the time (aerial view), or Charles and Ray Eames’ Powers of Ten*. In this hybrid micro-lecture and writing exercise, Dani discusses their travels down the Danube River, reoccuring thoughts on scalability and presentness of place, and the notion of long-form conversations across time and space.
